Hotel to acomodate local agriculture product
Office of Industry and Trade Balinese considered to require hotels and restaurants in Bali to use local agricultural products to meet the needs of meat, vegetables and major fruit daily.
Hotel and restaurant managers in Bali is expected to take advantage of even 30-50 per cent of local agricultural products to meet the daily needs.
Head of industry and trade on Bali Darmadja Gde in Renon (3 / 2) revealed the plan aims to lift local agricultural products. In addition this policy to help farmers and protect the farmers amid rampant import of agricultural products due to free trade.
Gde Darmadja admitted that the problem is the government and farmers have not been able to provide products needed by the hotel on an ongoing basis.
